Room 9 trip to Travis Wetlands

We had such a great experience at the wetlands today. We learnt about what the area used to look like and what it was used for. We collected water boatmen and other insects from the pond. We used binoculars to look at the different birds. Pete and Georgina were great teachers and we all learnt lots of things about our local wetlands.

Room 8 exploring Travis Wetlands

Room 8 learnt heaps of new things about our local wetlands today. Searching for insects and a spot of birdwatching made for a fabulous trip. A big thank you to our wonderful whanau that helped us today.
